Prove a balance threshold — "over $5,000" — or disclose the exact figure when a landlord or counterparty needs it. The balance check is valid for 7 days, so it always reflects something recent.
Bank verification
Connect a bank securely and turn it into a signed, shareable proof — "balance over $5,000", "income above $3,000/month", "this account is mine". Disclose the exact figure only if you choose. The raw numbers never leave your phone.
What you can prove
Prove a balance threshold — "over $5,000" — or disclose the exact figure when a landlord or counterparty needs it. The balance check is valid for 7 days, so it always reflects something recent.
Income is estimated from recent account activity and signed as a single property — "income above $3,000/month". Useful for rentals and freelancing. Valid for 90 days.
Prove a verified bank account exists in your name — institution and last four digits only. Confirms "this is a real account, held by this person" before money moves.
Use cases
Landlords ask for proof of funds or income before handing over keys — send "income above $3,000/month" or "balance over $6,000" without mailing statements to a stranger. Buying? Agents and sellers can ask for proof of funds for the deposit before they hold or reserve a property — so they only chase real, qualified leads.
Buying a car or watch remotely? The seller can ask you to prove you actually have the funds before they hold the item — and you can ask them to prove account ownership before you wire a deposit.
Platforms and clients that need a verified payout account get a signed "account ownership" proof — institution and last four digits only, never your full account number.
Many visa and residency applications require minimum-balance evidence. Prove the threshold is met on a recent date, signed and verifiable, without exposing your full finances.
Pooling money with people you've never met? Each participant proves they can cover their share before anyone commits — no screenshots that could be faked in seconds.
Before a private loan or a "spot me until payday" arrangement, ask for a signed income or balance proof. A real number, bound to a verified person — not a promise in a chat.
How it works
A secure, bank-grade connection lets Prson read the single figure you want to prove — balance, income, or ownership. We never ask for, or store, your banking login.
The raw amount is hashed on device. Prson's notary signs the hash plus the answer ("balance ≥ $5,000: yes"), so the proof carries the conclusion — never your account statement.
Share a threshold answer, or reveal the exact figure when it's warranted. Either way the recipient can verify the signature offline against Prson's published key.
Compatibility
Bank connections are powered by Stripe Financial Connections, which links roughly 5,000 US institutions — over 97% of US bank accounts. Don't see yours? Any other US bank still works through secure micro-deposit verification.
No match in our instant-connect list — but you can still connect that bank through secure micro-deposit verification.
What Prson never sees
We read the single figure needed for the check you asked for. We don't pull, keep, or display your transaction history.
The exact balance or income is hashed on your device. Our servers hold only the hash, the signed answer, and an expiry — never the amount itself, unless you explicitly disclose it.
Every share is a deliberate choice: a yes/no threshold by default, the precise figure only when you flip the toggle for that one recipient.
Pricing
Verifying a bank property to your identity, or asking someone else to, costs credits. 1 credit = $0.10, credits never expire, and when a challenger requests a check they pre-pay it so you're never out of pocket for answering.
Your first challenge each day is free. Need more? See full pricing →
