Verified humans

Know who is on the
other side of the
internet.

The web is full of bots, AI avatars, stolen selfies, and deepfakes. Prson gives every real person a signed identity — and lets you challenge anyone, at any moment, to prove there's a real human behind the username.

The problem

Every conversation now starts with "is this real?"

Stolen photos

Catfish profiles still drive most marketplace and dating fraud. A profile picture proves nothing — it might belong to anyone, on any continent.

AI-generated avatars

A new face that has never existed can be generated in under a second. Reverse image search comes up empty, which makes it more convincing than a stolen photo, not less.

Deepfaked video calls

Real-time face replacement is now a consumer feature. Showing up on video used to be the gold standard for "they're real" — that ground has shifted.

How Prson proves it

Two layers of verified human.

  1. 01

    One-time human verification

The chip in a passport or ID card, read by your phone and checked by Prson: the issuing country's signature and the chip's anti-cloning check. The result is a signed "verified human" claim notarised by Prson's company key. Add a live face match against the chip photo, run on your phone, for the highest level. Anyone with the public key can verify the claim offline — without ever seeing the selfie or the document.

  2. 02

    On-demand reality-proof challenges

Even after the first handshake, you can send a challenge: "hold up three fingers, say today's word." The capture happens live in the app, is bound to the prover's identity, and proves a real person is behind the conversation right now.

  3. 03

    Identity persists across context

The same verified-human signature follows you across identities (anonymous, personal) without letting third parties correlate them. You stay private, but counterparties always know they're talking to a real person.

Where it matters

Use it before you commit.

Dating apps

Before you meet, before you send a deposit for the weekend, send one challenge. Either you get a signed live video, or you keep your evening free.

Marketplaces

Buyer or seller, you want to know there's a real human before you wire money. Filters out drop-shippers, re-sellers, and "deposit then ghost" scammers.

Hiring freelancers

Verify the person you're hiring is the same person whose portfolio you saw. One signed live capture beats an hour of awkward video-call probing.

Journalist source verification

A signed live capture proves the source is a real person at a real location — without committing them to a video call with their real face exposed for longer than they choose.

Community moderation

Group admins can require a verified-human signature before anyone posts. Bot-spam, sockpuppets, and ban evasion all become significantly harder.

Safer first meet-ups

Whether it's a flat viewing, a courier hand-off, or a first date, a quick pre-meeting challenge confirms the counterparty is the same human you matched with online.

What Prson refuses to do

Verifying you is not tracking you.

No covert face recognition

Selfies stay on your device. We don't build a face database, we don't run global matching, and we don't share biometrics with anyone.

No correlation between identities

Your anonymous and personal identities are cryptographically separate. The same wallet can hold several, but no counterparty can link them without your explicit opt-in.

You delete, we delete

The verification artefact lives in your wallet. Delete your account and we erase your identities, documents and proofs from our servers; only records the law makes us keep, such as payments, stay, without your personal details.
